SWINE FLU DECONTAMINATION

May 6, 2009 - The ongoing outbreak of the H1N1 (Swine Influenza Flu) continues to spread across the United States.

INFECTION CONTROL

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze - then throw it away!
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water. If water is not available, use alcohol based hand cleaner.
  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth with soiled hands - as this is the most common way germs are spread.

 

FOLLOW PUBLIC HEALTH ADVICE

  • Respect announcements regarding school closures, avoiding crowds and other social distancing measures.
